2008 SUBSCRIPTION TO THE GREENE HILLS OF HOME: Beginning with the 2008 subscription year, members who wish to send a donation above the basic subscription level of $20 will be recognized as a Patron for a donation of $50 or Century Club member for a donation of $100. Be assured, we appreciate donations in any amount and count on your support, which helps us preserve our local history.
OUR BUSY LITTLE BEES HAVE BEEN AT IT AGAIN! All forty chairs in the WSCS Hall have been lightly sanded and a sealer-preservative applied thanks to Bill Brennan, John Barna, Jill Porter, Jeanne Brown, Bob Lederer and Rose Robacker. We will think of you every time we sit in them! They look beautiful and are a fitting match to the two corner cupboards we received and which now display some of our artifacts.
HELP WANTED! Sam Jackson is requesting assistance in editing Greene Hills of Home. He is asking for some one or a group of people to help prepare the December 2007 issue and to take charge of the March 2008 issue. The strength of Greene Hills of Home is that many share in its production of stories but now help is needed in editing. Sam would like anyone who is interested to start working with him in September on the December issue. Contact Bill Brennan (676-0170) or e-mail us at gths@att.net.
