SOME GOOD NEWS: We received a letter from The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission stating they have determined the WSCS Hall is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The next step in the nomination process is the submission of a completed National Register nomination which we will be working on this winter. |

Our November program featured a presentation on Hawley photographer Louis Hensel by the Hawley Public Library. Hensel produced, during the early 20th century, thousands of photographic glass negatives that the library has been restoring to as near perfect condition as possible. Theyre on display at their library. |
